Our Kirkland Signature Tuna Steak in Brine is responsibly caught in the rich waters of the Eastern Tropical Pacific Ocean off the coast of Ecuador and Peru. This is a high quality “solid pack”, or a steak of tuna with few small flaky pieces. All natural with no additives or fillers, and never mixed with other species like yellow fin or big eye tuna which are over fished in some areas. Our Skip jack is free school caught, or caught without the use fish aggregating devices (FADs) that can have negative impacts on the marine ecosystem.
