Microwave.
1) Place spinach in microwaveable dish.
2) Cover & microwave on high 7 minutes.
3) Separate with fork and cook 2 more minutes*.
4) Drain.
(Microwave ovens vary in power: adjust cooking time accordingly.)
Stovetop.
1) Place spinach in saucepan. Add 1/4 cup water.
2) Bring water to a full boil over high heat; reduce heat to medium.
3) Cover & cook 8 minutes.
4) Separate with fork and cook 2 more minutes*.
5) Drain.
*For food safety and best quality cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F.
