The whitish to cream coloured grains taste quite similar to broken rice or kanji.Kodri is extremely nutritious, and is largely consumed by the poorer and working class community in India. As such, it's found its way into backpacks. Both Cordura (and Kodra) and ballistic nylon are generally more than sufficient for everyday-use backpacks in terms of strength. Kodra — Kodra is very similar to Cordura in that it is a premium fabric known for durability and resistance to abrasion.
